Little Zebra Fund was founded by two geneticists

Gretchen and Maura’s paths first crossed during medical genetics fellowship training, where they discovered a mutual desire to solve the health inequity facing many of their undiagnosed patients. This shared passion led to the creation of the Little Zebra Fund.

Geneticists specialize in making rare diagnoses after the more common diagnoses have been ruled out.

Little Zebras affectionately refers to the patients we serve & treat.
